Engaged in ophthalmic clinical research for more than 20 years, Dr. Zhou’s major interests and achievements are in cataract surgery, laser vision correction surgery and ICL implantation in treating high myopia and extremely high myopia. Dr. Zhou keeps the record of the highest quantity of successful ICL (implantable contact lens) and toric implantable contact lens(TICL) surgeries of the world.

四川省眼科专委会委员，成都市眼科专委会常务委员。

从事眼科临床研究工作二十多年，在国内开展准分子激光和飞秒激光手术，白内障超声乳化联合人工晶体植入术，有晶体眼人工晶体（ICL）植入治疗高度及超高度近视手术。在国内外杂志发表学术文章十余篇，曾获省级科学技进步三等奖，市科学技术进步一等奖。多次赴欧美眼科医疗教学机构交流学习并发言，历年应邀出席欧洲白内障和屈光外科医生学术年会（ESCRS）并发言。
